A community advocate in Austin, Texas, Nancy Naeve has served in various capacities for the Lost Creek Neighborhood Association. A resident of Lost Creek since 1979, she spent several years as the association’s treasurer and is also an active longtime member of the Lost Creek Garden Club. Nancy Naeve played a key role in several improvement projects in the Austin neighborhood, among them the construction of sidewalks to improve safety and accessibility.
Working with the Lost Creek Garden Club, the Lost Creek Neighborhood Association, and individual residents, Ms. Naeve spearheaded beautification projects such as landscaping the median at the entrance to the Lost Creek neighborhood, which required fundraising through the Lost Creek Garden Club, the neighborhood association, and individual residents. The project eventually earned the Lost Creek Garden Club an award from the Texas State Garden Club.
In addition to her role with the neighborhood association, Ms. Naeve spent 12 years as a member of the board of directors for the Lost Creek Municipal Utility District (MUD).
